Our Studios
We have six beautiful studios for hire, Studios 1, 2 and 3 are specific to dance but Studios 4, 5 and 6 can be used for parties, meetings, rehearsals and much more.

We have Taquet Flooring for hire (10 x 9 meters).

Studio 1
Located upstairs
This Studio has air-conditioning a tarquet ballet floor, ballet barre and mirrors.
It is 9m x 11m
Studio 2
Located upstairs
This Studio has air-conditioning a ballet floor, ballet barre and mirrors.
It is 7m x 8.5m
Studio 3
Located upstairs
This Studio has air conditioning, a ballet floor and mirrors.
It is 7m x 12.5m
Studio 4
Located Downstairs
This Studio has a sprung wooden floor with tarquet ballet floor. It has air-conditioning, mirrors and Ballet Barre.
It is 9.5 x 16m
Studio 5
Located Downstairs
This Studio has a sprung wooden floor so can be used for all genres of dance. It has air-conditioning.
It is 5m x 13m
Studio 6
Located Downstairs
This Studio has a sprung wooden floor so can be used for all genres of dance. It has mirrors, Ballet Barre and Air Conditioning
It is 9m x 10m
Studio Hire Terms and Conditions
Please Note: Studio's 4, 3, 2 and 1 all have Tarquet (Ballet flooring) in them so NO outside street shoes to be worn please as these damage our floors. Dance shoes only.
Any sound equipment used needs to be put away correctly, if there are any problems with any of the equipment used, please advise admin@danceworks.co.nz as soon as your hire is completed.
Any damage found to the sound equipment will be charged to the hirer.
Please ensure you finish your hire on time as there may be someone booked in after you.
Studio should be left tidy and any rubbish is to be disposed of correctly in the bins provided. (If extra cleaning is required this will be charged to the hirer at the cleaning cost listed below.)
Studio lights and air conditioning need to be turned off and the studio needs to be locked up correctly at the completion of the hire (you will be emailed a form with this information). This is extremely important, should it be found the studios were not locked up correctly this may jeopardise future hire.
Studio key to be returned to the correct lock box on the outside of the building once you have opened the studio incase someone else needs to get into the studio. (If keys are lost or not returned you will be charged for a replacement key)
Anyone hiring the studio for their child must be in attendance if the child is under 15 years old and it is outside of our studio hours, including public holidays. They cannot be at the studios by themselves due to health and safety and security. Anyone found ignoring this will jeopardise any future hire with us.
Event Hire - if you are hiring for an event, you will need to pay the Bond and the Cleaning fee listed below, as well as the per hour rate. Please ensure you have allowed enough time before and after for setup and cleaning in your hire time (you are expected to leave the premises as clean and tidy as you found them). Bond will be refunded to you once we have checked the premises after your hire.
Studio Hire costs are:
$20.00 per half-hour
$40.00 per hour
$40.00 cleaning
$50.00 bond (Event hire only)
Full payment is required before the hire date into the following bank account (you will be emailed a Xero invoice to pay on).
